Reporting the Regions 1973-1993

This book is a summary of my experiences in two decades of regional journalism in Western Australia from 1973 to 1993. The Kalgoorlie Miner newspaper, based in Kalgoorlie provided me with opportunity to learn the trade throughout the Goldfields region. In Derby I edited the Boab Babbler as well as writing for the North West Telegraph and West Australian, then in Carnarvon I was the founding editor of the Gascoyne Gazette which covered the Gascoyne region, including Carnarvon, Exmouth and Shark Bay. These stories and pictures are not just my personal memories, but an historical journey through two decades of life in regional Western Australia. Enjoy the journey.

Luanne, not sure I could help. However, if you contact the West Australian I’m pretty sure they would have archived all their old papers and may be able to find it.
