Yep, it certainly was a field of dreams. Mobrup is nearly a two hour drive north west of Albany, but a drive worth taking. The event was Lucinda’s Everlastings annual open day. We went last year, but just had to do it again. Jen and Rob Warburton have been growing everlasting for 22 years but really you can never tire of seeing fields of everlastings.
Everlastings are an Australian native and I’ve seen them in the wild. Naturally, you can’t pick wildflowers, but Jen and Rob have provided an opportunity for the public to visit their farm and pick your own wildflowers.
